Meet Gaby & Daniella
We’re a mother-daughter duo who decided to renovate a house together in 2020, and never stopped! If you love beautiful home transformations, honest renovation budgets, and all the details in between, you’re going to feel right at home here.

We’re so glad you’re here.
I’m Daniella, and this is my mom, Gaby.
Together, we make up GD Home. Not the most original name, I know, but here’s the “why” behind it. GD are our initials, and home is what we’re all about. Creating beautiful spaces, women-led renovations, and family-centered living that celebrates the everyday.
Gaby is a physician by training and a self-taught renovator and designer who has transformed every home she’s ever lived in, from full-scale renovations to our current project: a 1970s ocean view home on Cape Cod (check that out here!)
I come at it from a slightly different angle. After 7 years in real estate finance, a health change pushed me to bet on myself and build something I loved. Now my days are split between spreadsheets, home design, and digital storytelling (and I wouldn’t have it any other way!)
We started GD Home because we couldn’t find a home resource that gave you everything. The design inspiration and the real costs. The beautiful after and the ugly before. The creative vision and the contractor questions you should have asked on day one. So we built it ourselves.
Everything we share here comes from our real renovations and our shared belief that your home should feel exactly like you. Not like an IKEA showroom. Not like a Pinterest board. Yours. We’re so glad you found us. Now let’s get to work.

Going to open houses on the Cape, exploring antique stores, walking the dogs, and spending time with family.
We couldn’t live without
Our rescue dogs (and unofficial GD Home employees), Leo and Argie.
Morning person or night owl?
Gaby’s an early riser, and Daniella is a night owl (both fueled by caffeine).

favorite travel destination
It’s a tie between Lake Como, Italy, and Cascais, Portugal.
